The given course book is compiled in accordance with the Federal State Educational Standard of Higher Education, recommended by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation
for Medical universities. The course book contains sections corresponding to the “metabolism
of xenobiotics”, as well as test tasks, related to interactive forms of learning. Special sections
are devoted to the analysis of the role of the biotransformation system in the metabolism and
interaction of drugs and the problem of some types of drug resistance.
The course book is designed to be used in educational institutions that implement the basic
professional educational programs of higher education at the level of a specialist in the field
of training 33.05.01 “Pharmacy”.
