The course book has 9 units which contain material covering different
areas of scientific research conducted at PRMU. Each unit presents English
scientific texts as well as a series of exercises and a variety of tests. The course
book is designed to be used by MD students, who do training for biology. It is
aimed at developing learners’ skills in the oral and written professional
communication. The learners can use the course book on their own for selfstudy or with a teacher in the classroom, one-on-one or in groups.

Предлагаемое учебное пособие состоит из 9 разделов и посвящено некоторым
темам научных исследований по биологии, проводимых в ПИМУ. Каждый раздел
содержит научные тексты, активный словарь, упражнения и тестовые задания.
Цель пособия – подготовить магистрантов к самостоятельному чтению,
пониманию оригинальной литературы в пределах изучаемой тематики и
иноязычной профессиональной коммуникации.
Пособие предназначено для магистрантов, обучающихся по направлению
подготовки — 06.04.01 «Биология. Структура пособия позволяет использовать его
как для групповых и индивидуальных занятий, так и для самостоятельной работы.
